Fiber Crafts Shown
Finished Object:
This week I cast on and cast off the lovely Maude Bonnet by Martina de Rover. I knit is using scrap yarn from my stash. A combination of cascade 220 in a natural white color and natural white Ja Woll sock yarn held tripple. Unfortunately the bonnet turned out just a bit too big…
Works in Progress:
My Overvintering Mini is my go to autumnal knit at the moment. This pattern is by Enya Ødegaard / Aftenstrikk and knit in Rauma Finullgarn in beige (main color), green, and brown. I finished the body this week, now on to Sleeve Island!
I cast on my next garment project this week. The Anne of Cleves by Jade Starmore from the book Tudor Roses by Alice Starmore. I’m knitting it in Jamieson and Smith Chunky yarn in the colorway Fuchsia.
Books
I shared two books that I am enjoying at the moment.
The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge, this sweet fairy tale was gifted to me by a knitting friend who I met through the podcast. The protagonist is called Maria Merryweather!
Housekeeping
This week I shared that I will be changing my podcast to a biweekly schedule. It has been a year of weekly podcasts, and I have loved it so much. 3-4 videos will still be uploaded to my channel monthly, so stay tuned for some knit and chats!
