Fiber Crafts Shown
Finished Object:
My Overvintering Mini is finished! This pattern is by Enya Ødegaard / Aftenstrikk and knit in Rauma Finullgarn in beige (main color), green, and brown. I still need to officially block it, but I am letting Esmeralda wear it a bit first. This pattern was such a joy to knit, and I could definitely imagine knitting it again!
Works in Progress:
I’m still on sock one of the socks for my father in law using leftover yarn I had in my stash. My mother in law requested these for him, and I was happy to oblige! I am planning on doing an afterthought heel. This is the tutorial/pattern that I have used before, and will use for this pattern as well.
I also returned to my Shawlography by Stephen West. I am knitting this in Woll Butt yarn Versailles yarn in the shades “Tanne”, “Taupe”, “Dunkelbraun”, and “Dunkelrot” as well as the Wool Butt Britney yarn in the shade “Creme”.
2021 Reflections
2021 was a year of knitting exploration for me. Of my three resolutions I only followed through on one (designing my own knitwear), but that one has opened a world of creative joy for me.
I also casually took part in Amy of Noble Character Craft’s #makenine2021mal on instagram. Although I wasn’t very faithful on instagram, I did finish 3 of my 9 and started 7 (!!) of 9. The patterns are linked below.
