Show Notes: An Exciting Personal Update!

Episode 39 can be found here.

This episode I spoke about my “Return from Creative Hibernation” which I shared about in detail on this blog entry. I also shared some big, exciting, personal news… I’m expecting a baby! Our new little family member is due in late summer, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about meeting them.

I also shared in detail the projects with which I have made my timid return to knitting.

Works in Progress:

Anne of Cleves by Jade Starmore, from the book Tudor Roses by Alice Starmore, knit in Jamieson and Smith Chunky in the Fuchsia colorway.

A new, seaside inspired, fair isle beret hat of my own design. I was inspired to design a hat after reading the book Knitted Tams by Mary Rowe. The November Woods Fiber Co. yarn has I have been using for this project has been endlessly inspiring. I am using the Lighthouse Keeper miniskein set, and the Foxprints colorway, all in her fingering weight bases.

I also returned to another little self-designed pattern- cable and lace socks knit out of Paper Crane Yarns sock yarn in the breathtaking Soleil colorway.
