Show Notes: Knitting Solutions and Making Plans

Episode 52 can be found here.

Knitting Works in Progress

My main project at the moment is a lovely yoked sweater- the Rug by Junko Okamoto. This unique and cozy pattern is available for free on Ravelry. I am knitting it up in Jamieson and Smith Chunky in the colorways Fuchsia and Lupin. I’ve separated for the selves and am knitting the body!

I am also working on a pair of simple vanilla socks in some mystery stash yarn for my father in law. I cast these on *years* ago and after a terrible case of second sock syndrome, I am glad to have picked them up and be working on them again! I’ve just started the heel. Here to hoping they are finished by his birthday in September!

Crafting Plans

I am so excited to cast on a pair of little socks for my daughter in a Crafted by the Fates 20 gram mini skein that I picked up in a set (called “Found Fae” ~ soo dreamy!) while we were in the States this spring.

I am also so excited to finally dive into some fabric that has been languishing in my stash since last spring. It is a lovely linen viscose blend in a sweet floral print. I have been at a loss as to what to use it for but inspiration has struck (thanks to this adorable video) and I think I am going to sew up a pair of breezy summer overalls…
