Show Notes: Moon River Socks

Episode 53 can be found here.

Moon River Socks

My Moon River Sock pattern is now out and available for purchase! I am so excited to share this special design with all of you. You can get a discount code for the pattern by subscribing to my newsletter the Merryweather Journal by clicking this link. You can find the pattern on Ravelry and Etsy.

Knitting Projects

My Finished Object of the episode is my sock pair for my father in law!! I am so glad to have these off the needles, and can’t wait to gift them to him for his birthday.

My main project at the moment is a lovely yoked sweater- the Rug by Junko Okamoto. This unique and cozy pattern is available for free on Ravelry. I am knitting it up in Jamieson and Smith Chunky in the colorways Fuchsia and Lupin. I’ve separated for the selves and am knitting the body!

I cast on a pair of little socks for Esmeralda using Crafted by the Fates hand dyed yarn. I picked up a mini skein set from her Etsy shop while I was in the states and have savoured working with this adorable yarn!

Sewing

I have been in a sewing frenzy the last couple of weeks. After magically making up my first patternless jumpsuit, I made another, then I made another (mini version this time), and now I am halfway done with sewing a wrap top. This one from Peppermint Magazine.

I also picked up a few herbs to use for natural dying… more coming on that soon. 😉

Until then, I hope you are doing well. What are you making these days?
